Goodbye Chinese class

Well! Time flies…..we finally finished the Chinese class in MIM program. I am sure that all MIMers who take Chinese class will miss Liu Laoshi as well as other laoshi a lot. We studied Chinese for 10 months since the fall term 2011 until Summer term 2012.

We studied many things that very benefit such as how to communicate with Chinese people, how to do business wit them, how to negotiate with them, and so on. At the last class, we had a Chinese speech contest. Everyone have to present everything that we had studies totally 7 topics; personal profile, family and friend, company that we worked for, Chinese map, Asia trip, MIM life, and the plan after graduated. Each person present around 15 minutes.  Everyone did a great job on the presentation.

At the end, Professor Cliff came to the event and gave us the certificate for attending the contest as well as a reward for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. However, I think everyone is a winner, everyone is number one because everyone did an excellent job.

After we finished the speech contest, we went to China town and had lunch together. We ate dim sum and authentic Chinese food. We had a great time with Laoshi and our classmates. What a wonderful moment!!
