The Master in International Management program offers four MIM specializations in the following areas of study: International Social Entrepreneurship and Sustainability, Global Marketing, Global Supply Chain Management, and International Finance. Every student is required to choose one of these areas of study by the first summer term and must take three elective classes in their specialization.
If you are interested in an International Social Entrepreneurship and Sustainability specialization track you may choose to take MIM 541: Social Entrepreneurship, taught this year by a wonderful PSU instructor, Cindy Cooper. Those who took Cooper’s class this past summer had the opportunity to listen to guest speaker, Aaron Howard, President and COO of Mass Ingenuity speak about how Mass Ingenuity is teaching companies to be more efficient and competitive in today’s workplace.
If you did not take Cooper’s class and have not had the pleasure of hearing Aaron Howard speak, you still have another opportunity to learn more about Mass Ingenuity’s revolutionizing business and management ideas from their upcoming webinar on December 7th from 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. (PST). John Bernard, Chairman and CEO, and Mass Ingenuity’s founder will be holding the informative webinar: Managing in the Now – How to create Competitive Advantage in the Coming Business Revolution. Bernard will discuss how today’s businesses can improve efficiency by taking action today, in the here and now, while integrating social media, cloud computing, and navigating the ways of the millennial generation in the business setting.
This is a great opportunity to hear Bernard, author of the upcoming book Managing in the NOW: Business at the Speed of Need, speak about best practices for both current and upcoming business leaders in today’s business environment. The one-hour webinar is free but you must register in advance. Click on this link to reserve your spot today: REGISTER NOW
